Terms and Conditions
Last updated:
These terms govern use of the LAVI platform and its services. Creating an account or using the platform constitutes the user’s agreement to comply with these terms and the policies associated with the service, to the extent permitted by applicable laws in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
1. LAVI services
LAVI provides a digital platform that helps users discover places, events and communities and use available features such as profiles, saved items, follows, ratings, tickets, check-ins and other services added from time to time.
Some features depend on the city, user type or service availability. The presence of a section in the interface does not necessarily mean that it contains content in every city.
2. Accounts
Users are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide when creating an account and for keeping their login details confidential.
Users must not share passwords or use another person’s account without authorization.
LAVI may take necessary steps to protect an account if unauthorized use is suspected.
3. Usernames and public profiles
A username is a public identifier within LAVI and is subject to availability and the approved format rules.
Users must not choose a username to impersonate a person or establishment, mislead others, violate laws or infringe others’ rights.
The platform may impose time restrictions on username changes.
4. Content and interactions
Users are responsible for the content or information they add through features that permit publishing or interaction.
The platform must not be used to publish unlawful, abusive, fraudulent or impersonating content, or content that infringes others’ rights.
LAVI may remove or restrict content or accounts where there is a legitimate reason or a violation of these terms or the law.
5. Places and displayed information
LAVI aims to present useful information about places, but some information may be supplied by establishments, users or historical sources.
Working hours, contact methods, locations and other details may change.
Users should verify important information when necessary before making a decision that relies on it.
6. Ratings
Ratings must reflect users’ actual experiences and must not be used to manipulate reputations, cause abuse or obtain an unlawful benefit.
Users may maintain one current rating for each place under the service’s design and may update it when the platform permits.
LAVI may take action in response to fraudulent or abnormal rating activity.
7. Follows and saved items
LAVI provides features such as following users and saving places or content.
Users control some visibility options for this data through the available privacy settings.
8. Location and check-ins
LAVI may allow users to check in at a place using their device’s location.
Location permission is requested when a feature needs it. Users must not circumvent verification or provide a false location to record an attendance that did not occur.
A check-in may be refused if proximity, accuracy or operational requirements are not met.
9. Events and tickets
When ticket purchase or issuance is available, tickets are subject to the event-specific terms, ticket type and cancellation or refund policies displayed during the transaction.
Users must not forge tickets or entry codes or reuse them in a way that violates the service terms.
10. Payments and third parties
LAVI may use an external payment provider to carry out financial transactions.
Payment processing is also subject to the payment provider’s technical rules and terms, while users retain their statutory rights relating to the underlying service under applicable laws.
The payment provider must not be regarded as the user’s employee or representative. It is an independent technical party in payment processing, according to the nature of the integration.
11. Prices and fees
When a paid service is offered, its price, fees, taxes, if any, and essential transaction information are displayed before completion to the extent required by the service and the law.
12. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation and refund policies vary by service, event or relevant agreement.
The policy applicable to a transaction must be displayed before or during its completion when the service requires it.
This page does not establish a uniform refund policy that conflicts with a specific product policy or consumers’ statutory rights.
13. Prohibited uses
Prohibited activities include:
- Attempting unauthorized access to accounts or systems.
- Misusing APIs or the service.
- Attempting to bypass verification, ticketing or check-in controls.
- Using other people’s data without authorization.
- Using the platform for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
- Disrupting the service or conducting security tests without express authorization.
- Automatically collecting user data without authorization.
14. Intellectual property
Rights in trademarks, logos, designs, software and content owned by or licensed to LAVI remain reserved to their respective owners.
Using the platform grants users no ownership rights beyond the permitted scope of use.
15. Third-party services and links
LAVI may integrate with or link to services provided by other parties.
Use of those services is also subject to the provider’s terms in relation to its independent services.
16. Service availability
LAVI works to maintain service continuity, but the service may be temporarily interrupted for operational reasons, maintenance, updates or circumstances beyond its control.
This does not constitute a guarantee that every feature will always remain uninterrupted.
17. Account suspension or termination
LAVI may suspend or restrict an account where there is a violation of these terms or the law, or a risk to the service or users, taking account of legal requirements and user rights.
18. Liability
Responsibilities and rights between LAVI and users are governed by the laws in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Nothing in these terms is intended to waive a right that cannot lawfully be waived or exempt a party from liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
19. Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy published on LAVI.
20. Amendments
These terms may be updated as services or legal requirements develop.
The updated version and its date are published, and material changes are handled as required by law.
21. Governing law

22. Language
